The Mental Health Parity & Addiction Equity Act of 2008The Mental Health Parity & Addiction Equity Act of 2008 was included in the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act that was signed into law by President Bush on October 3, 2008). The Act affects the group health plans of employers with more than 50 employees including self-insured plans.
